The Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, is the oldest and first national park in Nepal. Its exceptional biodiversity and wildlife have earned it a place in the UNESCO World Heritage list, and the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour is one of the most popular tours in Nepal. Travelers from all over the world come here to experience the wildlife atmosphere. The Jungle Safari provides a glimpse into the wilderness ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles, and more.
One of the most exciting experiences of the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour is riding an elephant around the national park and through the streets of Sauraha. However, for those who are afraid of elephants, a 4-5 hour jeep safari tour is also available, offering a wonderful outlook of the wildlife in a short span of time.
Another unique experience is the 40-minute canoe ride on the Rapti river, where sunbathing crocodiles and gharials can be seen near the riverside, along with numerous river birds. The tour also includes the opportunity to take part in activities such as Elephant Bathing, and an hour of thrilling walks within the dense woods of Chitwan National Park.
